Dr. Tista Prasai Joshi is one of the few women researchers working on Nepal’s water resources. She was a research student at NAST in the early 2000s, and that is where her dream to work and make a difference took shape.
Bhumi Badi continuously fights for equality. With federalism, a new constitution in place and a change in the waves of time, Bhumi competed for the local elections in 2017 and won as the Dalit Ward representative of Pakharnauli, Dullu Municipality. However, a seat at the table did not guarantee a dignified work environment.
