About Artist:
Pooja Duwal is a visual artist based in Bhaktapur, Nepal. She completed her Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from Kathmandu University, Department of Arts and Design in 2019. She finds inspiration in the unnoticed, ordinary aspects of daily life to unearth the underlying emotions and relationships that guide simple actions. She primarily uses painting as a medium of translating the beauty and humaneness contained in spaces. Her drawings and paintings create intimate portraits of her daily life. She practices communal interventions as an extension of her artistic practice.
