Women of Tokha by Michelle Lama

In Tokha, women carry stories of courage, determination, and self-made achievement. This mural series brings 6 of these stories to life, each wheat-paste portrait shaped by meeting, listening to, and photographing the women who have carved their own paths. The work captures the spirit, resilience, and quiet strength that shape lives turning individual stories into a collective celebration of empowerment and perseverance.
